A new season is upon us and with it new opportunities, new members, new sounds, new venues and we need to find a new heart and identity in all of this.
I am excited to go on this journey with you!
We are beginning a new series of practice sessions to allow this renewal to happen. You can find the dates in the bar to the right. Here's how the practices will work: since we aren't practicing for a specific gig, there wont be pressure to create polished music. We can relax, get to know each other better on a musical level, establish our musical direction and have some fun.
I am also excited to know who is going to show up. I have a list of 13 people who have been interested in being involved with En Route, and if 13 show up to each of these practices, it will be great to have a big team. If there are a few who don't make a huge effort to show up, we will cut our losses and make amazing sounds with a smaller team who are all totally stoked to be a part of this. Are you reading between the lines? do that. :)
The first practice is on this Sunday from 2 to 4 PM in the community building on the RAA campus.
